Billy Bob Insect Control

While most people know Billy Bob Products for our world famous teeth, over the past several years we have taken a big bite into the pest control market. We developed our first fly and insect control item, the Fly-Lid, in 2019 and received our patent in 2020. The Fly-Lid is a small plastic fly catching lid that fits on most disposable cups. It is an Eco-friendly solution for catching flies and fruit flies.  Soon after developing the Fly-Lid, we created a larger version that fits onto 5 gallon buckets. The 5 gallon bucket version is a super sized fly catcher!  While it works very well in backyards and residential settings, it is a stand out when used on farms and other more rural settings. Both of our Fly-Lids styles allow you to catch flies without using harsh chemicals or poisons, in fact, you can use food and ingredients you already have a around the house. Leftovers work great!

If actively swatting flies, spiders, wasps, and other insects is more up to your speed, we offer a heavy duty multi-purpose swatter. This patented swatter allows you to now only swat annoying insects, but also scoop them up!  With its scooping compartment, you can clean up any mess when your done. Or if you prefer not to kill a bug, you can scoop them up alive and take them outside. The slick inner surface of the scooping compartments make it difficult for live bugs to crawl out once they are scooped up and in the bottom of the compartment.

Our newest product is our Made in the USA carpenter bee trap!  Yes, Billy Bob fly and insect control includes carpenter bees! We manufacture it at our facility and it is a tried and true design for trapping carpenter bees.  Carpenter bees can inflict a large amount of damage to your wooden structures while on their journey to pass on their genes, so hanging up a few carpenter bee traps will help prevent them from boring holes and brood chambers for their eggs. In addition, the males can get be very territorial when protecting the females, so it is better to get them in a jar before they start dive bombing your head.

Our tick tape is designed for campers, hunters, hikers, and all people who want to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about ticks. Wrap this double sided tape around where your shoes or boots meet your pants leg or socks.  Tick tape does double duty, it helps to seal any openings where ticks can climb and get under your clothes, and it also helps prevent ticks from climbing up the outside of your pants because they get suck to the tape.
